The Department has 4 Divisions
1. Dermatopathology (Director—Prof. J. Yu-Yun Lee)
2. Infectious disease and Immunodermatology (Director—Prof. Hamm-Ming Sheu)
3. Dermatological Surgery (Director—Associate Prof. Sheau-Chiou Chao)
4. Phototherapy (Director—Assistant Prof. Tak -Wah Wong)

History
The University Hospital was founded in June 1988 and the Department of Dermatology was formally established in August 1988 with Prof. Lee serving as the first Chairman.  Prof. Lee had put great emphasis on  providing high quality medical service and training of residents, medical students and interns. She also focused academic development on the areas of dermatopathology, mycology, molecular genetics of genetic diseases, skin cancer, skin barrier function and physiology, and has built a sound basis for the continuous growth of the department. The succeeding chairmen have continued these traditions. The department quickly became one of the top-ranked dermatology departments in Taiwan.

Fifth Chairman:Prof. Hamm -Ming Sheu (August 2009 – )
Faculty and staff members: 2 professors,one associate professors and one assistant professor, 3 attending dermatologists, 8 residents, 2 medical technicians and one
administration assistant.
